I've got a lime ish theme going on with some things around my room.. just need to make some curtains.. and get a cover. if I need to I might just make one, if everything is going to be very expensive online/instores ps. I really shouldn't be doing this right now but anyways... here it goes. my to-do list after the freaking exams on friday: 1) scream TGIF and announce my freedom for the next 2 fucking months! 2) get new hair  3) rid them fugly nailz 4) happy-happy on friday night 5) dill's 19th on sat 6) bangkok with darren and many many many many many 7) ice-skating with pris  8) get a job. with poovan 9) worry bout 2 subs (spoiler) 10) haven't thought of it yet but i just hate the no. 9 this will prolly keep me at it for AWHILE. goonight folks. be good till the greens call and alcohol! post comment

The most important dance move is a smile. [27 Aug 2008|01:28pm] thenicestthings [vvalkyri] International Lindy Hop Championships were this past weekend. Some of the best dancers in the area, the country, the world were around for the final late night dance. Much as I'm a decent dancer, I'm not anywhere near that level. First couple dances were with guys who were looking past me, or looking blank. Maybe they were tired, after being up til 5 and 6 and dancing all day the last couple days. Maybe they were thinking. Maybe I just sucked that much that they were counting the seconds until the song was over. I found Steve, who /is/ all that, but dances with me fairly often, and asked him for a dance. And told him I'd seemed to have disappointed the last couple leads. And during that song he smiled, no, grinned, and made little joyful interjections, and asked me for a second dance. Reminded me that yes, I'm fun to dance with, too. Saved my whole evening. post comment

Our friend has the bedroom and my boyfriend and I share the living room (thankfully there is a door). We just moved here a month and a half ago from a large one bedroom and had to downsize a lot. It's really starting to bug me how messy it's made my bathroom and I want to know what neat and organized methods or tools could be used to hang headbands?
